February 2012 DS Supplies has recently added the new Trojan Silent Blue PLUS underlay to its range. This underlay is 3mm thick, there is 15m per roll and each roll comes with foil and a self adhesive tape seal.

These sets come with a loose door stop and sets are available in pre-finished White Oak, Natural Oak, White and Walnut. All are individually shrink wrapped, coded and barcoded. September 2011 DS Supplies are launching a new bendable coverstrip and reducer. These flexible profiles come with a bottom fastening rail for joining floors, wainscot and wall cladding along a curved line. The coverstrip rail is for joining floors with a difference in level of up to 10mm, the reducer rail is for joining floors with a difference in level of 4 - 21mm.. These profiles can be shaped as you wish after being heated gently with hot air or hot water. All available in 10ft lengths in Silver, Dark Oak, White Oak and Rustic Oak/Walnut.
August 2011 DS Supplies now have in stock Acoustic Batton Strips which are self adhesive and come in 5mm x 50mm x 20m rolls. The trend towards high comfort parquet and wooden strip floor constructions in new buildings and renovations is increasing. Technical and acoustic reasons dictate the use of an interlayer between the parquet and the structural floor construction in order to achieve the necessary comfort levels. These batton strips are an ideal separation layer between the structural floor and the parquet. It is thin, elastic, light in weight, acts as a water vapour and is easy to lay.. Simply stick to your floor beams, plywood or chipboard before fixing your plywood sub-floor. They also provide good impact sound insulation at low thickness, they absorb floor uneveness, they provide chemical and mechanical stability and are also enviromentally friendly.
July 2011 DS Supplies are launching a Cork Underlay and Cork Expansion Strips. The underlay will come in 2mm x 1m (10m2) rolls which will be suitable for underfloor heating. The expansion strips will come in 10mm x 15mm x 1m (30pcs per pk) and 10mm x 20mm x1m (30pcs per pk). The underlay and strips are a natural product.
Also due into stock soon are our new 'Iron on Melamine Board Edging Tapes' which will be available in 22mm x 5m pre-glued rolls in beige, oak, white and walnut. These iron on edgings are perfect for edging door frames or furniture. The edging can simply be applied with a hot iron, then rolled or pressed into position while still hot. If there are any overlapping edges they can be trimmed when cold and then sanded to finish.

November 2010 DS Supplies has introduced a new range of metal profiles named 'Hobbyline' which are perfect for modellers, crafts, machine shops, architectural applications and project designs or for simply repairing or modifying a DIY job at home. These metal profiles can be cut to desired length using a hacksaw and they are also easy to bend and form. October 2010 DS Supplies now has in stock our new ‘Panel Adhesive’ and ‘DS8 Multi Adhesive’. The Panel Adhesive is a one part, monogenous paste adhesive based on acrylic dispersion which is recommended for bonding of light polystyrene and polyurethane elements to absorbent surfaces such as concrete, plaster, chipboard, wood, plaster board and gypsum. This panel adhesive is ideal for our Trojan MDF & Realwood range, e.g skirting, architrave, scotia, flat beading etc.
The DS8 Multi Adhesive is a one component silane terminated polyurethane polymer. Fast cure professional sealant, which cures to a permanent, outstanding durable, shrink proof and vibration resistant joint when exposed to moisture present in the air, which is also solvent free. This sealant exhibits excellent adhesive to various surfaces, porous and non porous like glass, glazing, ceramic tiles, steel, aluminium, concrete, cement based products, natural stone, wood, metals, metal sheet and plastics such as rigid PVC. The DS8 Multi adhesive is also used as a sealant and is ideal for sticking our Trojan stairnosings.

May 2010 DS Supplies Ltd are now the proud sponsors of Faughs GAA Senior Hurling Team.
